Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and skilled Air Source Heat Pump Installer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing air source heat pump systems that provide efficient heating and cooling solutions for residential and commercial clients. Your expertise will ensure systems operate at peak performance, delivering comfort and energy savings. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge HVAC technology while contributing to sustainable energy initiatives.

Responsibilities

Install air source heat pump units according to manufacturer specifications, schematics, and safety standards
Conduct system diagnostics, troubleshoot issues, and perform equipment repairs to ensure optimal operation
Read and interpret technical schematics, blueprints, and wiring diagrams accurately
Perform routine maintenance on heat pump systems to extend lifespan and improve efficiency
Collaborate with team members and clients to coordinate installation schedules and address technical queries
Maintain detailed records of installation procedures, repairs, and maintenance activities
Ensure all work complies with local building codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards

Requirements

Proven mechanical knowledge with experience in HVAC or related construction fields
Ability to read and understand schematics, technical manuals, and wiring diagrams
Strong leadership skills to oversee installation processes and guide junior team members when necessary
Experience with equipment repair, troubleshooting, and maintenance of air conditioning systems
Familiarity with construction sites or building projects is highly advantageous
Knowledge of HVAC systems, including air conditioning units and heat pumps
Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail in high-pressure situations
