Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and professional Duty Manager to oversee daily operations within our late night hospitality establishments. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring exceptional guest experiences, supervising staff, and maintaining high standards of service. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with management experience and a passion for hospitality to contribute to a welcoming environment. The Duty Manager will play a pivotal role in upholding the organisation’s reputation for outstanding guest services and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate daily operational activities to ensure smooth functioning of the venue.
Lead and motivate team members, providing guidance and support to deliver exceptional guest services.
Handle guest enquiries, complaints, and special requests with professionalism and courtesy.
Monitor health and safety procedures, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.
Assist in organising staff schedules, training sessions, and performance evaluations.
Oversee the cleanliness, presentation, and maintenance of the premises to uphold brand standards.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery during all shifts.
Manage cash handling procedures, reservations, and administrative tasks as required.

Experience

Proven management experience within the hospitality industry or similar service-oriented environment.
Strong knowledge of guest service principles and hospitality standards.
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively under pressure.
Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
Experience in supervising staff, conducting training, and resolving conflicts professionally.
Familiarity with health and safety regulations relevant to hospitality settings is desirable.
