Job Overview

This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a two Rosette kitchen, producing fresh, seasonal food in a supportive, professional environment — while benefiting from something rare in hospitality: a genuine work/life balance. We’re looking for a breakfast /prep chef to join our talented team within our family-run group of hotels on the stunning Norfolk Coast – We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Breakfast Chef / Chef de Partie . The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking breakfast dishes to a high standard, ensuring an exceptional dining experience for our guests. This role offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your culinary talents within a professional kitchen environment, contributing to the overall success of our establishment.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook breakfast dishes in accordance with recipes and presentation standards
Ensure all food preparation complies with food safety and hygiene regulations
Assist in menu planning and ingredient selection for breakfast service
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area at all times
Monitor stock levels and communicate shortages or expiry issues to management
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth and efficient service during busy periods
Serve breakfast dishes promptly and courteously to guests, maintaining high customer satisfaction standards
Follow health and safety procedures diligently, including proper handling of kitchen equipment and food storage

Skills

Proven experience in food preparation and cooking within a professional kitchen setting
Strong knowledge of culinary techniques specific to breakfast cuisine
Familiarity with food safety standards and hygiene practices
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure
Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team
Previous restaurant experience is desirable, particularly in breakfast or brunch service
Ability to serve food courteously and professionally to guests
Passion for culinary arts with a keen eye for detail and presentation

Pay: From £14.00 per hour
