Full job description

Are you experienced in modular joinery and looking for a full-time, permanent role?

Ideal Building Systems Ltd is expanding to meet a secured order book for the next 12 months. We are seeking Semi-Skilled and Skilled Modular Joiners with a strong background in joinery. You will play a key role in the construction and installation of modular buildings, including flat roofing systems. During peak periods, you may also assist with general joinery and carpentry tasks. This is a hands-on role within a supportive, safety-first environment.

Please note: This role involves manual handling and heavy lifting.

Duties

Construction and installation of warm and cold deck flat roofs to high standards
Installation of windows and doors
Confident using hand tools, power tools, saws, and measuring instruments
Accurately read and work from design drawings
Maintain a strong eye for detail - especially in quality control
Adhere to all site safety and wear appropriate PPE at all times
Take on ad-hoc construction tasks during busy periods such as joinery/carpentry as needed

Requirements

Proven experience in the modular construction industry, with a strong portfolio of completed projects
Strong attention to detail
Punctual, reliable, and self motivated with a strong work ethic
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Positive attitude and commitment to high quality workmanship.
Familiarity with single ply and EPDM roofing materials - desirable
Basic joinery/carpentry skills - desirable
