Full job description

Overview

Join our dynamic team as a Venue Maintenance Assistant and play a vital role in ensuring the safety, functionality, and aesthetic appeal of our event spaces. This position offers an opportunity to work hands-on with a variety of maintenance tasks, supporting the smooth operation of our venue. You will be responsible for maintaining equipment, troubleshooting issues, and assisting with repairs to create a welcoming environment for all visitors and staff. Your proactive approach and technical skills will help keep our venue in top condition, enabling memorable experiences for everyone.

Duties

Perform routine weekly inspections
Troubleshoot and repair issues identified around the venue
Arrange external bodies where required, carrying out due diligence first
Assist with installation, setup, and breakdown of event equipment and infrastructure
Actively identify areas in need of repair and improvement
Occasional garden maintenance

Experience

Proven experience in facility or venue maintenance
Demonstrated ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environments
Experience in working multiple jobs whilst remaining organised and punctual
