Overview

We are seeking a dedicated CSCS Groundworker to join our construction team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with various groundworks and site preparation tasks, ensuring safety and efficiency on-site. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to develop their skills within the construction industry, working on diverse projects in a dynamic environment. A valid CSCS card is essential, along with a commitment to health and safety standards.

Duties

Assisting with excavation, trenching, and groundwork activities in accordance with project specifications
Operating basic site machinery and tools safely and effectively
Preparing sites by clearing debris, setting out materials, and ensuring the work area is safe and organised
Assisting with the installation of drainage, kerbing, and other ground-related structures
Supporting the team in maintaining health and safety protocols throughout all operations
Ensuring all work complies with relevant legislation and company policies
Collaborating with other trades and team members to meet project deadlines

Experience

Valid CSCS card is mandatory; previous experience in groundworks or construction preferred but not essential as training will be provided
Basic understanding of construction site safety procedures and regulations
Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
Good physical fitness and stamina to perform manual tasks over extended periods
Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to different site environments

Pay: £19.00-£22.00 per hour
