Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and dependable Roofer/Labourer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be instrumental in installing, repairing, and maintaining roofing systems on a variety of commercial and residential projects. Your hands-on skills, attention to detail, and safety consciousness will ensure high-quality workmanship and project success. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your construction expertise while contributing to durable, reliable roofing solutions.

Duties

Assist in the installation, repair, and maintenance of roofing systems using hand tools, power tools, and roofing materials
Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings to ensure accurate project execution
Operate welding equipment when necessary for metal roofing components or structural supports
Perform heavy lifting of materials such as shingles, metal sheets, insulation, and other roofing supplies
Use carpentry and masonry skills to prepare surfaces and build supporting structures for roofing applications
Conduct fabrication tasks to customize roofing components as specified in project plans
Support plumbing or ventilation work related to roofing systems when required
Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols and proper tool handling

Requirements

Prior construction experience with a focus on roofing is highly preferred
Ability to read schematics and technical drawings accurately
Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and fabrication techniques
Strong knowledge of roofing materials, techniques, and safety standards
Physical stamina for heavy lifting, working at heights, and standing for extended periods
Basic carpentry, masonry, plumbing or masonry skills are advantageous
Willingness to learn new skills and work effectively as part of a team
