Job Overview

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Level 2 Swimming Teacher to join our vibrant aquatic education team. In this role, you will deliver engaging, safe, and effective swimming lessons to students of various ages and skill levels, focusing on developing their confidence and technical ability in the water. Your energy and passion for teaching will inspire learners to achieve their swimming goals while fostering a positive and encouraging environment. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on our community’s aquatic skills and safety.

Responsibilities

Deliver structured swimming lessons tailored to individual student needs, ensuring progression through skill levels.
Demonstrate proper swimming techniques and safety procedures clearly and effectively.
Monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to motivate improvement.
Maintain a safe environment by enforcing pool rules and supervising all activities during lessons.
Prepare lesson plans in advance, incorporating fun and engaging activities that promote learning and confidence.
Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding student progress and areas for development.
Assist with pool safety checks, equipment maintenance, and ensuring compliance with health regulations.

Requirements

Proven experience in sports coaching or teaching, preferably within aquatic or similar environments.

Excellent communication skills, capable of engaging learners of all ages with clarity and enthusiasm.
Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends as needed.
Passion for teaching, motivating others, and promoting water safety awareness.
Relevant certifications in sports coaching or swimming instruction are highly desirable.
