Job Overview

Join our dynamic team as a Finance Assistant, where your enthusiasm and attention to detail will drive our financial operations forward! In this vital role, you will support daily accounting activities, assist with financial reporting, and ensure smooth processing of transactions. Your proactive approach will help maintain accurate records and contribute to the overall financial health of our organisation. Duties

Process invoices, expense reports, and payments accurately and promptly
Assist with bank reconciliations and monitor account transactions for discrepancies
Support the preparation of financial statements and reports for management review
Maintain organised records of financial documents, receipts, and invoices
Collaborate with other departments to ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures
Submit and consolidate claims
Help coordinate audits by providing necessary documentation and information
Update and manage financial databases to ensure data integrity and accessibility

Qualifications

Proven experience or strong interest in finance, accounting, or related fields
Excellent organizational skills with keen attention to detail
Proficiency in MS Office applications, especially Excel; familiarity with accounting software Xero is a plus
Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate across teams
Ability to prioritise tasks efficiently in a busy environment
Basic understanding of financial principles and processes
A proactive attitude with eagerness to learn and grow within the finance sector
