Full job description

Join the team at The Foundry!

Expected start date: 1st-2nd week of August - Full Time

The Foundry is an independent family business, growing each year with new ideas and projects. It has become a vibrant hub for craft beer, award winning spirits, great food and excellent service. We are looking for a friendly, pro-active and reliable individual to assist the General Manager.

About You:

Experienced and Confident: You have a proven track record in a similar position in a busy restaurant environment (minimum 1 year). You're genuinely excited about craft beer, spirits, and creating a memorable guest experience.
Friendly and Approachable: You have a warm and welcoming personality that makes guests and colleagues feel comfortable.
Supportive: Help the Manager in developing menus, planning events, and implementing promotional activities as well as working well within the team.
Social Media Savvy: You're competent in using social media platforms for business purposes.
Pro-Active: You demonstrate initiative in difficult situations as well as the general day to day tasks.

Responsibilities:

Assist the General Manager in the day-to-day operations of the restaurant.
Lead the team to provide exceptional customer service.
Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly.
Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
Contribute to the development and implementation of marketing and promotional activities.
Ensure the business operates within all relevant legal guidelines.
