Construction Multi-Trade Operative

Location: Wirral / North West (site-based)
Salary: £35,000 – £40,000 DOE + Company Vehicle

Concept Projects Group (CPG) is a growing project delivery business supporting clients across the FMCG, food, pharmaceutical, chemical and industrial sectors. We deliver a wide range of engineering, construction and fit-out projects, and we're looking for a skilled and motivated Construction Multi-Trade Operative to join our team.

This is a hands-on role working across industrial sites throughout the North West, predominantly in the Wirral area. You'll work alongside Project Managers and Site Supervisors to help deliver projects safely, efficiently and to a high standard, while maintaining excellent relationships with our clients.

The Role

As a Construction Multi-Trade Operative, you'll support the delivery of construction, maintenance and refurbishment projects across a range of industrial environments.

Projects may include:

Industrial fit-out projects
Building refurbishment works
Civil engineering works
Plant and site improvements
General maintenance and repair tasks

You'll be a key representative of CPG on site, providing a professional service while ensuring health, safety and quality standards are always maintained.

Key Responsibilities

Carry out day-to-day construction and maintenance activities on industrial sites.
Support Project Managers and Site Supervisors with project delivery.
Undertake a variety of multi-trade tasks including:
Painting and decorating
Basic joinery
Tiling
Basic plumbing
Minor electrical works
General building repairs and maintenance
Complete work safely, efficiently and to a high standard.
Communicate effectively with clients and site teams.
Provide regular progress updates on completed and ongoing tasks.
Identify and report hazards, defects and faulty equipment.
Adhere to all health and safety requirements and company procedures.

About You

We're looking for a practical, self-motivated individual who can work independently while also contributing positively as part of a wider project team.

Essential Requirements

Previous experience in a construction, maintenance or multi-trade role.
Good all-round building maintenance skills.
Strong communication and client-facing skills.
Ability to work using your own initiative.
Good organisational and time management skills.
Ability to work to deadlines and prioritise workload.
Full UK driving licence.
CSCS Card.
SSSTS or SMSTS qualification.

Desirable

Experience working on industrial or manufacturing sites.
Additional trade qualifications or certifications.
Knowledge of health and safety requirements within construction environments.
