Full job description

ABOUT US:

We are a dental practice located in the Dumfries, committed to providing exceptional dental care to our patients in a friendly and professional environment. We are currently seeking a motivated and organized person to join our team as a full time receptionist. The candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth operations and delivering exceptional service to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
- Greet patients and visitors with a friendly and welcoming manner
- Schedule appointments and manage the dental office's calendar efficiently
- Answer phone calls, emails, and inquiries promptly and professionally
- Process patient paperwork and maintain accurate records
- Assist with billing, insurance claims, and payment processing
- Maintain a clean and organised reception area
- Collaborate with the dental team to ensure a seamless patient experience

Qualifications
- Previous experience in an office or administrative role preferred
- Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures is advantageous but full training will be given.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively
- Proficient in using office software applications such as Microsoft Office
- Friendly demeanour with a customer-centric approach
