Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Operations Manager to oversee daily business activities and ensure operational excellence across our organisation. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership capabilities, excellent organisational skills, and a proven track record in management within retail or sales environments. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead teams, optimise processes, and contribute to the company's growth and success. The position is paid and suitable for candidates with a proactive approach and a passion for operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage daily operations, ensuring smooth workflow across departments.
Supervise team members, providing guidance, motivation, and performance feedback.
Develop and implement operational strategies to improve efficiency and productivity.
Oversee merchandising activities to ensure brand standards are maintained.
Manage sales initiatives, analysing performance metrics to meet targets.
Coordinate with other departments to streamline processes and optimise resource utilisation.
Maintain high standards of customer service through effective team management and communication.
Organise staff schedules, ensuring adequate coverage during operational hours.
Monitor inventory levels, ordering supplies as needed to prevent shortages.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times.

Skills

Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable to facilitate communication across diverse teams.
Proven management experience with a focus on supervising teams within retail or sales settings.
Strong leadership qualities with the ability to inspire and motivate staff.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, including phone etiquette.
Demonstrated organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
Experience in merchandising, sales management, or retail management is advantageous.
Sound time management skills to handle multiple priorities efficiently.
Administrative experience including report writing, data analysis, and record keeping.
Ability to adapt quickly to changing business needs while maintaining professionalism.

Pay: £55,000.00-£59,000.00 per year
