Full job description

Staple Bakery is a neighbourhood bakery in Easton, Bristol, making quality sourdough, pastries, and baked goods from scratch. We opened earlier this year and we're growing -which means we need another pair of skilled hands in the kitchen.

We're looking for a baker who knows their way around sourdough, bread production and pastry. You'd be joining a tight-knit team and have a lot of creative opportunities given our relatively small team.

What you'll be doing

Bread and sourdough production - mixing, shaping, proofing, baking
Pastry production - mixing, proofing, laminating, baking and decorating
Maintaining high and consistent standards every shift
Following SOPs and meeting our standards of production

What we're looking for

Solid experience in bread and sourdough baking and pastry production - you understand how to manage and work around these enviroments
Reliable, self-motivated, and comfortable with early starts
Someone who takes pride in the product and works well in a small team

The details

Shifts are 10 hour blocks (so a 40 hour contract would reflect a 4-day work week)
