Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Qualified Dental Nurse to join our dynamic dental team. In this vital role, you will provide exceptional patient care, assist dentists during procedures, and ensure the smooth operation of the dental practice. Your proactive approach and excellent communication skills will help create a welcoming environment for patients while supporting the delivery of high-quality dental services. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills within a professional and supportive setting.

Responsibilities

Assist dentists during a variety of dental procedures, ensuring all instruments and materials are prepared and sterilized.
Provide compassionate patient care, including explaining treatments, managing anxieties, and offering post-treatment advice.
Maintain accurate patient records using IT systems, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with data protection regulations.
Support infection control protocols by sterilizing equipment and maintaining a clean clinical environment.
Manage appointment scheduling and patient correspondence to optimize clinic efficiency.
Communicate clearly with patients in English, addressing questions and providing instructions for oral health care.
Organize clinical supplies and ensure all necessary materials are available for daily procedures.

Skills

Strong patient care skills with a friendly, empathetic approach.
Excellent communication skills in English to effectively interact with patients and team members.
Solid understanding of nursing principles applied within a dental setting.
Proficiency in using IT systems for record keeping and appointment management.
Exceptional organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while maintaining attention to detail.
