Location: Clacton-on-Sea, Essex
Salary: £12.71 per hour
Hours: Full-time and part-time hours available, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.

Job Overview

New venue is looking for friendly, reliable, and enthusiastic Bar Staff to join our team. As a key member of our front-of-house team, you will provide excellent customer service, prepare and serve drinks efficiently, and help create a welcoming atmosphere for our guests.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a busy hospitality environment, has a positive attitude, and takes pride in delivering outstanding service.

Key ResponsibilitiesCustomer Service

Welcome customers in a friendly and professional manner.
Take and process drink and food orders accurately.
Provide prompt, efficient, and courteous service at all times.
Handle customer enquiries and resolve any issues professionally, escalating where necessary.

Bar Operations

Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to company standards.
Operate tills and process cash and card payments accurately.
Restock the bar and maintain appropriate stock levels throughout each shift.
Ensure glassware, bar equipment, and workstations remain clean and well organised.

Venue Standards

Maintain high standards of cleanliness and presentation throughout the bar and customer areas.
Assist with opening and closing duties.
Follow all licensing laws and company procedures relating to the responsible sale of alcohol.
Help maintain a safe working environment for colleagues and customers.

Teamwork

Work closely with colleagues to ensure smooth and efficient service.
Support other areas of the business when required during busy periods.
Maintain a positive, professional, and flexible approach to work.

Requirements

Previous bar or hospitality experience is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Reliable, punctual, and well presented.
Flexible to work evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.
