Full job description

the Summary of Position:

Westley Richards & Company Limited is looking to recruit a Trainee Leather Prepper to join the team of skilled craftspeople in our stunning factory in Aston, Birmingham.

Duties and Responsibilities:

To cut and prepare leather & fabric components to the highest standards ranging from small intimate pieces, bulky heavy gun slips to a full range of luxury luggage.
Cut and Prepare products using various hand skills and machinery
Skive leather to the desired thickness
Using various forms of cutting tools safely and efficiently
Waste management to ensure maximum efficiency
Working and collaborating with a small team of craftsmen to ensure all products are of the highest quality standards

Hours of work:

7 am - 4 pm Monday - Thursday

7 am - 12 pm Friday

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From £22,000.00 per year
