Job Summary

Join our dynamic team as a Wood Processor, where your hands-on skills and mechanical knowledge will drive the transformation of raw timber into high-quality wood products. Your contributions will be essential in ensuring efficient processing, safe operations, and top-notch craftsmanship. Duties

Operate hand tools and power tools to cut, shape, and assemble wood components with accuracy and care
Use mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues and perform routine maintenance on processing machinery
Handle heavy lifting tasks safely to move raw materials and finished products throughout the warehouse or processing area
Fabricate custom wood parts or assemblies based on specifications, ensuring quality standards are met
Conduct quality checks on processed wood pieces, verifying dimensions and finishes before packaging or shipment
Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols at all times
Assist with warehouse tasks such as inventory management, loading/unloading materials, and preparing orders for dispatch

Skills

Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate and troubleshoot processing equipment
Proficiency with hand tools and power tools used in woodworking and fabrication tasks
Experience with sewing or fabricating custom components is a plus but not required
Prior warehouse experience demonstrating efficiency in material handling and organization
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely for extended periods during processing shifts
Skilled in assembly processes, ensuring precise fitting of wood parts according to specifications
Excellent attention to detail combined with active problem-solving skills
