Full job description

Job Summary

We are seeking Logistics Assistant to join our small team working on pathology orders to support our onsite laboratory and external clinics. In this role, you will play a vital part in coordinating transportation, managing warehouse operations, and ensuring seamless materials handling.

Responsibilities

Monitoring of stock levels
Input of collections schedule
Preparation and distribution of client orders via courier
Managing courier collections
Organisation of offsite storage (lockup units)
Preparation and dispatch of diagnostic kits
Kit preparation in logistics
Washing of tubes and other laboratory equipment
Cleaning of logistics and entrance area
Cleaning of benches once work in the area is completed
Removal of general waste.
Driving to and from clinics for collections and deliveries (UK driving license must be held)

Requirements

Ability to carry out physical tasks such as lifting and moving stock
Strong focus skills to work through large customers orders to a fast turn around time
Attention to detail across different customer requirements
Confident in IT equipment such as barcode scanners, franking machine, IT systems
Confident speaking over the phone to customers as well as face to face when doing collections

The role is Full Time Monday to Friday with a 1 in 3 Saturday of a shorter shift.
