Full job description

Overview

We are seeking a trainee plumber to join our team. Ideally the successful candidate will possess some building/plumbing knowledge and be happy liaising with other trades and customers. But this is not essential as all training will be given.

This role requires a hands-on approach and the ability to work with a variety of tools and equipment. A commitment to safety and quality workmanship is essential.

Responsibilities

To help the engineer you will be working with
Utilise hand tools, and power tools.
Perform heavy lifting as required when handling materials and equipment.
Collaborate with other tradespeople on construction projects, including carpentry work as needed.
Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
Provide excellent customer service by addressing client concerns professionally.

Requirements

Proficiency in basic maths for measurements and calculations related to plumbing tasks.
Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks associated with plumbing work
Attention to detail
Punctuality
Live in or very close proximity to Honiton
Willingness to learn new skills, or advance your existing skills
Experience with assembly techniques relevant to plumbing installations is desirable
A valid driver's licence is preferred. If you are passionate about plumbing and possess the necessary skills to excel in this role, we encourage you to apply and become part of our dynamic team
