Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and versatile Handy Man to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a broad range of technical abilities and be comfortable performing various maintenance and repair tasks. This role requires a proactive individual who can work independently while also providing excellent customer service. The Handy Man will be responsible for ensuring that all repairs and maintenance tasks are completed efficiently and to a high standard.

Duties

Perform electrical repairs and installations, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their needs and expectations.
Read and interpret schematics to troubleshoot issues and implement solutions.
Supervise and coordinate with other tradespeople as necessary to complete projects.
Maintain tools and equipment in good working order, ensuring they are safe to use.
Demonstrate leadership skills by guiding less experienced team members in best practices.
Apply mechanical knowledge to perform repairs on various systems and equipment.
Utilise logic controllers for troubleshooting automated systems.
Weld components as required for specific repair tasks.

Skills

Proficient in electrical systems and installations.
Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly in English.
Ability to read schematics and technical drawings accurately.
Experience in supervising teams or projects effectively.
Mechanical knowledge with a hands-on approach to problem-solving.
Familiarity with logic controllers for automated systems is advantageous.
Welding skills are a plus, enhancing the ability to perform diverse repair tasks.
Strong organisational skills, capable of maintaining an orderly workspace while managing multiple tasks efficiently.
