Job Title: CNC Programmer / CAD-CAM Specialist – Bespoke Joinery

Location: Enfield, London

About Us

Woodcraft Joinery London is a specialist manufacturer of bespoke staircases, windows, doors, kitchens, fitted wardrobes, and custom joinery products. We are looking for an experienced CNC Programmer / CAD-CAM Specialist to join our growing team and support the production of high-quality bespoke joinery projects.

Key Responsibilities

Create, modify, and optimize CNC programs for the manufacture of bespoke staircases, windows, doors, kitchens, wardrobes, and other joinery products.
Produce CAD drawings and CAM files for CNC machining.
Generate nesting layouts and material optimization plans to minimize waste.
Interpret architectural drawings, technical specifications, and site survey information.
Collaborate with designers, project managers, and workshop staff to ensure accurate production.
Prepare machining strategies, tooling requirements, and cutting lists.
Program and operate CNC machinery as required.
Conduct quality checks on components before manufacture and assembly.
Troubleshoot programming and machining issues to improve efficiency and product quality.
Maintain accurate production documentation and revision control.
Assist in developing production methods and improving workshop processes.

Requirements

Proven experience as a CNC Programmer within the joinery, woodworking, cabinetry, or furniture manufacturing industry.
Strong knowledge of CAD/CAM software and CNC programming.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manufacturing specifications.
Experience programming components for staircases, windows, doors, kitchens, wardrobes, and bespoke furniture.
Good understanding of woodworking machinery, tooling, and manufacturing processes.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Desirable Skills

Experience with 3-axis and 5-axis CNC machines.
Knowledge of staircase construction and manufacturing.
Experience with timber windows and doors production.
Understanding of bespoke furniture and fitted joinery manufacturing.
Previous experience in a fast-paced bespoke joinery workshop.
