Full job description

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and highly organised site manager to oversee a 21-unit residential construction project from start to finish. Responsible for managing day-to-day site operations, ensuring all work is carried out safely and to the highest standards. This role requires strong leadership and an understanding of residential construction regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and coordinate all on-site construction activities.
Supervise and direct subcontractors, tradespeople, and labourers.
Ensure the project is delivered in accordance with the drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
Maintain strict compliance with health and safety regulations and conduct regular site inspections.
Monitor construction schedules and report progress against key milestones.
Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and resolve any delivery issues.
Identify and resolve problems or delays that affect the project timeline or quality.
Conduct toolbox talks and ensure risk assessments and method statements are followed.
Maintain site records, including daily diaries and progress reports.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Site Manager or Foreman in residential construction.
Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and building regulations.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
Knowledge of relevant health and safety standards.
Basic IT skills are a must

Qualifications:

NVQ Level 4 or 6 in Construction Site Management or equivalent.
SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) certification.
First Aid at Work.
Full UK driving licence.

Pay: £50,000.00-£65,000.00 per year

Work Location: In person
