We are seeking a professional very excited to be recruiting for a Hotel Receptionist here at the St Moritz Hotel. Located on the beautiful North coast, we are seeking a professional and welcoming person to join our team on a permanent basis. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a smooth check-in and check-out process. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic hospitality environment, delivering memorable experiences to our guests. Delivering excellent customer service and ensure our guests have the best possible stay. We are looking for someone who is friendly, confident and desires to create a fantastic guest experience of the highest standard, not just meeting, but exceeding expectations.

Responsibilities:

Represent the St Moritz brand through excellent attitude, behaviour and professional appearance
Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with check-in procedures
Manage guest reservations, cancellations, and modifications efficiently
Provide accurate information about hotel services, facilities, and local attractions
Handle guest enquiries via phone, email, or in person with professionalism and courtesy
Process payments and maintain accurate billing records
Address guest concerns promptly to ensure satisfaction and resolve issues effectively
Maintain the reception area in a tidy and organised manner
Collaborate with housekeeping and other departments to meet guest needs
Uphold hotel policies and procedures to ensure safety and security

Skills:

Excellent communication skills, including strong phone etiquette
Previous experience in hotel reception or guest services is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate
Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
Friendly, approachable demeanour with a professional attitude
Knowledge of hospitality industry standards and customer service excellence
