Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Painter and Decorator to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for transforming spaces through expert painting and decorating techniques, ensuring high-quality finishes that enhance the aesthetic appeal of residential, commercial, or industrial environments. Your enthusiasm for craftsmanship and commitment to excellence will contribute to creating inspiring and welcoming spaces for our clients. Responsibilities

Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, filling holes, and applying primers to ensure optimal paint adhesion
Apply paints, varnishes, wallpapers, and other decorative finishes with precision and attention to detail
Use a variety of tools such as brushes, rollers, spray guns, and scaffolding to achieve desired results
Collaborate with clients and team members to understand project specifications and deliver tailored decorating solutions
Follow safety protocols diligently, including proper handling of paints and equipment to maintain a safe work environment
Maintain cleanliness of work areas during and after projects to ensure efficient workflow
Drive company vehicles as needed to transport materials and equipment between sites

Skills

Proven experience in construction painting and decorating techniques
Strong communication skills to effectively liaise with clients, team members, and suppliers
Ability to read and interpret project plans and specifications accurately
Valid driving license with reliable transportation for site visits
Knowledge of safety standards related to painting materials and construction sites
Fluency in English for clear communication on-site and in documentation
Excellent attention to detail combined with a proactive approach to problem-solving
