Full job description

ABOUT HSG

We are a family owned rapidly growing Washroom Hygiene Company based in Derbyshire looking for a skilled and reliable Handyman to join our team working 3 days per week, Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.Working hours are between 8:30am to 5pm with a 30 minute lunch break.

You will be responsible for carrying out a variety of property repairs, general maintenance, and ad hoc odd jobs for both our various offices and rental properties as required.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Performing general carpentry, including repairing doors, hanging shelves and repairing/building furniture as required.
Carrying out basic plumbing tasks such as fixing dripping taps and unblocking sinks
Undertaking painting, decorating and plaster patching.
Sourcing materials when required
Working in a safe, neat and tidy way
eeping outside areas of properties neat and tidy to include weeding, sweeping and watering when required.

REQUIREMENTS

Proven experience in a similar handyman or general building maintenance role. Working knowledge of basic plumbing, carpentry and electrics.

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and occasionally away from home, accommodation and meals allowance will be provided.

A full driving licence.
