We're Hiring: Passionate Fitness Coach (Part-Time)

Location: The Base, Derby, DE21 4BB

About The Base

The Base is a community-driven fitness business focused on real coaching, real support, and real results.

We don’t just deliver sessions - we help people change their lives.

We’re a close-knit, forward-thinking team with big plans for the future and we’re now looking for a passionate, people-focused coach to grow with us.

The Role

As a Base Coach, you’ll play a key role in delivering an outstanding member experience while developing your own skills and career.

You will:

Coach small group personal training sessions
Coach high-energy group training sessions
Support members to progress towards their goals
Create a positive, motivating and inclusive environment
Deliver consistent, high-quality coaching and service
Learn and deliver The Base training systems and coaching standards
Work closely with the team to support community growth
Take part in ongoing CPD, feedback and development

Essential Requirements

Level 3 Personal Trainer qualification
Previous coaching experience (group and 1:1)
Strong communication skills and confidence working with people
First Aid qualification (or willingness to complete during induction)
