Full job description

Care Assistant (Bank shifts) required for family run Care home in Dingwall

We require experienced care assistants for our highly regarded care home in Dingwall. The home is well established and has great links and a good reputation within the local community.

Responsibilities

We are looking for someone who can deliver all aspects of personal care to residents including washing, bathing, assisting with the serving of meals and ensuring an interesting dining experience, but someone who also has the desire to make a valuable contribution to enrich the lives of our residents and become part of a committed and caring community

Requirements

- Familiarity with care home environments and care plans
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with residents and their families
- Basic IT skills for documenting and reporting care activities
- Ability to work with empathy, patience, and compassion in a care home setting

The key to joining us as a bank member of staff is your ability to be flexible, as you will be asked to attend shifts to cover at short notice, for sickness, holiday and for times when we are extra busy

We can offer training opportunities that will enhance your career

You will be required to undergo a PVG membership (Disclosure Scotland) check

We are a small company where each of our homes is as individual as the people who live in them, looked after with love and kindness by the people who work there
