We're looking for an organised, enthusiastic and customer-focused Lettings Administrator to join our busy lettings department on a 12-month maternity cover contract.

This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a well-established, supportive and professional team, gaining valuable experience within the property industry while playing an important role in the continued success of our lettings department.

About the Role

As Lettings Administrator, you'll be at the heart of our lettings operation, ensuring tenancies are set up efficiently, compliance requirements are met and landlords and tenants receive the outstanding service that Whittley Parish is known for.

Working closely with the rest of the team, you'll support every stage of the tenancy process, helping ensure everything runs smoothly from instruction through to move-in and beyond.

Your responsibilities will include:

Preparing tenancy documentation and maintaining accurate tenancy files.
Obtaining and monitoring landlord compliance documentation.
Completing Right to Rent and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) checks.
Preparing and issuing tenancy agreements and arranging signatures.
Registering tenancy deposits with the Tenancy Deposit Scheme (TDS).
Preparing tenant move-in information packs.
Coordinating inventories, check-ins and check-outs with our inventory provider.
Managing Gas Safety Certificate renewals and other compliance deadlines.
Arranging routine property inspections.
Registering applicants and arranging property viewings.
Liaising with landlords, tenants and contractors regarding maintenance and tenancy matters.
Preparing property details and supporting the lettings team with day-to-day administration.
Providing cover for Rental Accounts when required, including landlord payments, rent monitoring and account administration.

About You

We're looking for someone who is organised, reliable and enjoys working in a busy office where no two days are the same.

You'll have:

Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
The ability to prioritise a varied workload and work accurately under pressure.
A positive, proactive and team-focused attitude.
Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office.
A willingness to learn and adapt.

Previous experience within lettings, estate agency or property administration will be required for this role.
