Bench Joiner

Location: Rotherham, South Yorkshire, S60 1QG
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Salary: £16.00 - £18.00 per hour, dependent on experience
Hours: 40 hours per week

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Bench Joiner to join our growing team in Rotherham. The successful candidate will be responsible for manufacturing high-quality bespoke joinery products from technical drawings and specifications, ensuring all work meets company quality standards and customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities

Manufacture bespoke joinery products including bars, counters, retail units, and furniture.
Interpret and work from technical drawings, plans, and specifications.
Operate a range of woodworking machinery and hand tools safely and effectively.
Assemble, fit, and finish joinery components to a high standard.
Conduct quality checks throughout the production process.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment.
Work collaboratively with colleagues to meet production deadlines.
Adhere to all health and safety regulations and company procedures.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Bench Joiner or in a similar woodworking role.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship.
Experience using woodworking machinery and hand tools.
Good problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
Reliable, punctual, and able to work effectively as part of a team.

Desirable Qualifications

Experience working with bespoke or high-end joinery products.
Knowledge of modern manufacturing techniques and materials.
