We’re looking for a Development Project Officer to support the delivery of affordable housing across Lincolnshire.
Working with the Development Project Manager, you’ll help take schemes from concept to completion—supporting s106 and grant ‑ funded projects, working with local partners, and ensuring homes are delivered compliantly, efficiently, and in line with our growth ambitions.

Where I’d work:
This role is based within Lincolnshire and will be split equally between Grimsby and Boston , with regular travel to schemes across East Lindsey. Occasional travel to other locations throughout Lincolnshire may also be required. You will be able to claim mileage back for these journeys
You’ll have the autonomy to manage your own diary and the flexibility to work from locations that best support the delivery of your projects across Lincolnshire. This could be at our main offices in Grimsby or Boston, our various community hubs, at home, local coffee shops, or wherever works best for you.

- Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
- Experience managing complex administrative responsibilities while maintaining high standards of accuracy.
- Experience working in social or affordable housing, construction, or a property ‑ related environment
- A proactive, solutions ‑ focused approach with the confidence to use your own initiative
- The ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure
- Good IT skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel, and confidence using development systems
A full driving licence and access to a vehicle
Even better if you bring:
- Previous experience within a housing association or local authority development team
- Knowledge of Homes England funding requirements and compliance
- Experience liaising with developers, contractors, and site teams
An understanding of the new ‑ build housing development process, including s106 acquisitions

What does a typical week look like ?
As a Development Project Officer, your week will be varied, people ‑ focused, and full of opportunities to make a real difference.
You’ll be at the heart of helping our customers have access to a safe well-maintained home, a typical week could look like this:
- Support the Development Project Manager to move new ‑ build schemes forward, from early feasibility through to construction, handover and completion
- Visiting sites to monitor progress, attend inspections and support quality and readiness for handover
- Updating development systems, maintaining accurate scheme records and contributing to reports and internal approvals
- Supporting financial processes, including invoices, payments and budget monitoring
- Supporting LHP make strong relationships with local authorities, developers, contractors, consultants and internal colleagues
Helping drive continuous improvement, ensuring information is accurate, timely and well ‑ organised
