About Us

The Conifers is a residential home supporting up to 28 adults with learning difficulties. We are committed to providing high-quality, person-centred care in a safe, respectful, and supportive environment.

We are currently looking to recruit caring, reliable, and flexible Bank Support Workers to join our team.

About the Role

This is a flexible bank position covering shifts as required, including:

Day shifts
Evening shifts
Weekend shifts
Night shifts

Shift patterns and availability will be discussed during interview.

As a Support Worker, you will play an important role in supporting our residents with their daily lives while promoting dignity, independence, and wellbeing.

Main Responsibilities

Supporting residents with personal care and daily living tasks
Promoting dignity, choice, and independence at all times
Maintaining accurate records and reports
Supporting residents with activities and social engagement
Working as part of a team and using your own initiative when required
Undertaking duties consistent with the role

What We’re Looking For

Good communication and teamwork skills
A caring, patient, and reliable nature
Ability to work flexibly across different shift patterns
Previous care experience is desirable but not essential as full training will be provided

A Level 2 NVQ in Health & Social Care or Care Certificate would be advantageous.

Additional Requirements

Successful applicants will be required to:

Complete an enhanced DBS check before employment begins
Provide valid photo identification (passport, driving licence, or other recognised ID)
Provide two employment references
