Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Cook/Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of dishes, ensuring high standards of food quality, safety, and presentation. This role offers an exciting opportunity for individuals with a background in food preparation in a fast paced environment.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook a range of dishes according to recipes and quality standards
Ensure all food is prepared in accordance with food safety and hygiene regulations
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen
Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory management to ensure ingredients are fresh and available
Collaborate with team members to deliver efficient service during busy periods
Serve meals promptly while maintaining presentation standards
Follow health and safety procedures at all times to ensure a safe working environment

Requirements

Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or as a chef within a restaurant or catering environment
Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in kitchen hygiene
Ability to prepare meals efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to work under pressure during peak hours
Good communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team
Flexibility to work shifts including weekends, or holidays as required

Pay: From £14.00 per hour
