Construction Fasteners Ireland Ltd. is a leading supplier of high-quality fixings and fasteners in a wide range of materials and grades, including stainless steel, galvanised, and zinc-plated products. We supply multiple sectors including joinery, window installation, civil engineering, structural engineering, and roofing.

Role Description

We are seeking a dedicated Trade Counter Manager for a full-time, on-site role based in Dungannon.

This is a hands-on position responsible for managing the day-to-day running of the trade counter, delivering excellent customer service, and ensuring the smooth operation of sales, stock, and staff. You will supervise and train team members, support customer requirements, and help maintain a professional and efficient trade counter environment.

Key Duties

Manage the day-to-day operation of the trade counter
Supervise, support, and train counter and warehouse staff
Serve customers and maintain high service standards
Maintain strong product knowledge across fixings, fasteners, and services
Organise stock and coordinate ordering requirements
Ensure accurate invoicing, pricing, and account handling
Contribute to a positive, organised, and professional workplace

Qualifications & Experience

Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to handle queries and resolve issues efficiently
Good product knowledge and the ability to explain technical information clearly
Proven ability to train and support team members
Strong organisational and time-management skills
Previous experience in a Construction or Engineering trade counter, builders’ merchant, or similar environment is essential
Familiarity with the construction, engineering, or related industries is required

The Ideal Candidate Will Have

Experience in a builders’ merchant or trade counter environment
Strong leadership and people-management skills
A practical, organised, and reliable approach
Confidence dealing with trade customers and account holders
Ability to safely lift, carry, and move stock items as part of normal duties

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £13.00-£14.00 per hour
