Salary - £25,470 per annum (pro-rata for part-time, £13.70 per hour)

Hours - Part-time, 17.75 hours per week (Wednesday, Friday & Saturday)

Contract - Fixed term until 31st of January 2027

Location - Drumbrae Leisure Centre

Open Day - Tuesday, 21st of July 2026

Are you passionate about delivering exceptional customer service and thrive in a dynamic, people-focused environment? Join our vibrant front-of-house team at Edinburgh Leisure as a Welcome Host, where you’ll be the face of our venues, creating memorable experiences for every customer.

What You’ll Do:

Meeting and greeting customers, pointing them in the right direction, creating a welcoming and fun environment, and helping them get the best experience in every visit.
Responding to customers’ questions and enquiries in person, over the telephone, and by email in a friendly and efficient manner.
Preparing and setting up our venues and equipment for events and customer use. Keeping everything clean, tidy, safe, and presentable.

What You’ll Bring:

A vibrant, customer-focused personality with strong communication and listening skills.
Exceptional customer service skills with experience in customer-facing roles.
Ability to juggle multiple tasks, stay calm under pressure, and respond quickly to customer needs.
Ability to connect with diverse people and work independently or in a team.
Ability to learn and follow all safety standards and procedures.
Basic understanding of technology and experience with point-of-sale systems.

Opportunity Available:

Part-time, 17.75 hours per week - Wednesday 12:00 - 20:00, Friday 15:45 - 20:15, Saturday 11:45 - 17:30

Interviews will be held at Jack Kane Sports Centre on Tuesday, 21st of July 2026. Due to limited spaces available on the day, we will contact successful candidates to reserve a time slot.
