About Renew & Sustain

Renew & Sustain is a growing UK energy consultancy and TPI brokerage supporting businesses to make informed, commercially sound energy decisions.

We work with organisations across the UK, helping them navigate energy procurement and secure the right commercial energy contracts while maintaining high standards of accuracy, compliance and customer service.

The Opportunity

We are looking for an experienced B2B sales professional to join us as an Energy Consultant.

This isn't simply a lead generation role. As an Energy Consultant, you'll take ownership of qualified commercial opportunities and progress them through discovery, pricing, negotiation and ultimately towards close.

You'll speak directly with business decision-makers, understand their procurement requirements, gather and validate contract and usage information, and work closely with our Corporate Pricing Specialists to take opportunities to market and secure competitive commercial outcomes.

You'll be responsible for keeping your pipeline moving and will be measured against clear activity, quality, pipeline and revenue expectations.

What You'll Be Doing

Engaging directly with business owners and decision-makers through outbound and structured follow-up activity.
Conducting commercial discovery to understand requirements, renewal dates, decision criteria and procurement timescales.
Reviewing and validating energy bills, usage data, supplier details and existing contract information.
Developing qualified opportunities ready for multi-supplier pricing and tendering.
Working closely with Corporate Pricing Specialists throughout pricing, negotiation and deal progression.
Managing multiple live commercial opportunities through a structured sales process.
Handling objections and maintaining momentum throughout the customer journey.
Maintaining accurate, complete and compliant records within HubSpot.
Managing follow-up activity and pipeline progression effectively.
Delivering against daily, weekly and monthly KPIs covering activity, quality and revenue contribution.

What We're Looking For

You'll ideally have:

Proven B2B sales experience within a target-driven commercial environment.
Evidence of consistently working towards and achieving sales targets.
Strong pipeline and opportunity management experience.
Confidence holding consultative commercial conversations with business decision-makers.
Strong questioning, listening, negotiation and objection-handling skills.
Excellent organisation and follow-up discipline.
High standards of accuracy when handling customer information, documentation and CRM records.
Experience using CRM systems; HubSpot experience would be advantageous.
A professional, ethical and commercially aware approach to sales.

Commercial energy or utilities experience would be advantageous but isn't essential. We're equally interested in strong B2B sales professionals who can demonstrate the commercial discipline, capability and mindset required to succeed.

What You'll Get

£28,000-£35,000 basic salary, dependent on experience.
