Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Dispenser to join our healthcare team. The successful candidate will be responsible for accurately dispensing medications, providing excellent patient care, and supporting pharmacy operations. This role offers an opportunity to work in a professional environment committed to patient safety and well-being. Prior experience as a pharmacy dispenser is required, along with a strong understanding of medication administration and patient care practices. Please note we do not provide sponsorship, all applicants must have a minimum of 12 months experience in the UK.

Duties

Accurately dispense prescribed medications in accordance with doctor’s instructions and pharmacy protocols
Assist pharmacists in preparing and organising medication orders
Provide clear instructions to patients regarding medication usage and potential side effects
Maintain precise records of dispensed medications and inventory levels
Support patients with general enquiries, offering compassionate and professional assistance
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the pharmacy setting
Assist with stock management, including ordering, receiving, and storing pharmaceutical supplies

Requirements

Proven experience as a pharmacy technician or dispenser is essential.
Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Ability to work effectively within a team environment
A recognised qualification in pharmacy services or related field is required
Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to healthcare regulations
Ability to work accurately under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication skills, as such a good command of English is essential.
