Full job description

Link-Force Ltd is currently recruiting a skilled Banksman for our client, a reputable Residential Construction company based in Oxfordshire. In this role, you will be responsible for directing the safe movement of vehicles and oversized loads on-site, ensuring all operations comply with health and safety regulations. The successful candidate will coordinate with crane operators and other heavy machinery operators to facilitate smooth and secure lifting and positioning activities. You will be required to communicate effectively using hand signals and radios, maintain safety protocols throughout all activities, and assist in the safe handling of loads to prevent accidents or damages. This position requires a high level of vigilance, clear communication, and adherence to safety standards to support the ongoing construction projects efficiently.

Previous experience as a Banksman on construction sites
Valid Banksman/Traffic Marshall certification
Experience in Slinging or Load Handling (must have experience with a Slinger)
Excellent communication and coordination skills
Ability to work as part of a team and follow safety procedures diligently
Physical fitness and attentiveness to ensure site safety
