IMMEDIATE POSITIONS AVAIABLE....

Job Title: Housekeeper / Cleaner/Laundry assistant

Location: Filey, North Yorkshire

Working days: We operate 7 days a week we are looking for someone who will be available 3- 6 days a week Minimum guaranteed hours is 25 increasing to full time during busier periods.

Sparkle and Shine (Filey) are the Yorkshire Coasts premium cleaning provider, we manage hundreds of self - catering apartments, cottages & lodges and are the areas main contractor for all the major letting agents.

We are looking for people to join our Laundry and house keeping team working on a rota basis, includes weekends and bank holidays

Your Role:

Majority of the Role will be shared between cleaning and our in house laundrette. In the commercial Laundrette you would be dealing with customers face to face using our till system. processing all laundered items to a high standard during a washing, drying and pressing procedures. Organisation and motivation is key to ensure days are run as smoothly as possible. Successful candidate will be required to work in both.

Cleaning

You must be able to work as part of a team and individually where necessary, and able to complete the following to a high standard;
To provide and excellent service to our guests and clients
To clean all areas of accommodation to a high standard
To report any faults or defects
To sort dirty laundry ready to process at our launderette
Make Beds to a high standard
To keep all necessary checklists up to date
To ensure safe return of all keys at the end of shift
To ensure all properties are left ready to let and secure once checkout has been completed
To ensure all relevant Health & Safety procedures are followed and any issues immediately raised with your supervisor and/or manager
Complete any end of day handover reports as required.
Use of own smart phone for electronic job cards / company apps
Any other duties as required.

Profile;

The right candidate for this role must have the following attributes
Experience in cleaning in the leisure/hospitality industry
Have a passion for cleanliness
Be well organised, patient & calm under pressure
Be highly motivated and committed to the success of Sparkle and Shine

FULL UK DRIVING LICENCE required

Use of company Van during shift
Must be over 21 for driving insurance purposes

Hours of Work - Variable / Various Hours available

All equipment provided
Uniform provided
Use of company Van during shift
