Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and energetic Van Driver / Removals Operative to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods, furniture, and household items to various locations while providing excellent customer service. Your role will involve heavy lifting, careful handling of items, and ensuring timely deliveries or removals. Duties

Safely operate commercial vehicles to deliver or collect goods, furniture, or household items across designated routes
Assist with loading and unloading items, including heavy lifting and careful handling to prevent damage
Ensure all deliveries and removals are completed on time, accurately documented, and in accordance with company procedures
Communicate effectively with customers to confirm delivery details and provide excellent service throughout the process
Maintain vehicle cleanliness and perform routine safety checks before and after each shift
Follow all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies during transportation activities
Support warehouse operations by organizing stock, preparing items for transport, and assisting with inventory management when needed

Experience

Previous experience as a delivery driver or removals operative is highly desirable
Valid <PERSON> driver’s license with a clean driving record
Experience in commercial driving, including operating large vans or trucks
Warehouse experience or familiarity with logistics operations is advantageous
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently over extended periods
Strong communication skills to interact professionally with customers and team members
Knowledge of road safety regulations and good navigation skills
