Full job description

Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Bar Staff to join our vibrant team. As a key member of our hospitality environment, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests while ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. Your role will involve not only bartending but also assisting with various tasks that contribute to the overall guest experience.

Duties

Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, in accordance with established recipes and standards.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, ensuring all equipment is in good working order.
Welcoming guests, checking them into our hotel and assisting them with queries and recommendations in the local area.
Engage with customers, taking orders and providing recommendations to enhance their experience.
Monitor guest consumption levels and adhere to licensing conditions.
Assist with food service, ensuring food safety standards are met at all times.
Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently, demonstrating basic maths skills for processing payments.
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods, demonstrating strong time management skills.
Uphold the highest standards of hospitality, creating a friendly and inviting atmosphere for all guests.

Requirements

Previous experience in a restaurant or bar setting is preferred but not essential; a willingness to learn is key.
Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Basic maths skills for handling transactions and managing tabs effectively.
Knowledge of food safety practices is advantageous to ensure compliance with health regulations is desirable; however, training will be provided for the right candidate.
A genuine passion for hospitality and helping others, contributing positively to team dynamics and guest satisfaction.
