Overview

We are seeking a talented and experienced Chef to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for food, and a commitment to excellence in kitchen operations. This role offers an exciting opportunity to develop and grow . The successful applicant will be responsible for food preparation, ensuring food safety standards, and working with a team of kitchen staff to deliver exceptional dining experiences.

Must be willing to work across all shifts as required , breakfast / lunch / evening.

Duties

Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and standards.
be knowledgeable about food production processes to ensure quality, consistency, and presentation
Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene in compliance with health regulations
Manage inventory levels, order supplies, and ensure proper storage of ingredients
Coordinate with front-of-house staff to ensure timely service and customer satisfaction
Develop new menu items in collaboration with management, incorporating seasonal ingredients and current culinary trends
Monitor kitchen operations during service hours, ensuring smooth workflow and efficient utilisation of resources
Enforce safety procedures and uphold cleanliness standards throughout the kitchen environment

Experience

Proven experience within a professional kitchen setting
Good background in food production, cooking, and food preparation across diverse cuisines
Demonstrated skills with the ability to work independantly
Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in hospitality settings
Previous experience working in restaurants or similar hospitality establishments is highly desirable
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to oversee multiple tasks simultaneously
Experience serving customers directly or managing front-of-house operations is advantageous
