Full job description

Kepple lane Pharmacy Garstang.

Pharmacy Counter Assistant 15 hours per week contract Saturday's 9.00am-6pm, Wednesdays 5pm-9pm and Thursday's 5pm-9pm.

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our very busy but friendly dispensary team.

5 weeks paid holidays pro rota.

You will be working in a busy fast paced Pharmacy that uses a modern automated dispensing robot .

We are located within a large Medical Practice.

You will need to be friendly, confident, helpful, committed, flexible, a strong team player and be able to hit the floor running.

You must also have the following ;Methodical and accurate approach to practical tasks.

Trustworthy and understanding of confidentiality issues.

High level of concentration.

Strong communication and excellent customer service skills.

Professional, tactful and friendly attitude.

Ability to work effectively to deadlines.

Excellent team working skills.

NVQ 1 preferable but not essential Full training will be given .

The role will involve Taking money for sales and handling prescriptions and understanding the requirements (payments, exemptions etc)

Replenishing stock, keeping the shelving orderly and clean.
Talking to customers and offering information in a confident, friendly, and professional manner
Offering appropriate information to customers on common ailments, symptoms, and products.
