Cleaning Operative | Edrington Group - 100 Queen Street , Glasgow, Scotland, G1 3DN

At Sodexo, you'll belong in a team where your attention to detail makes a real difference. We're looking for a reliable and motivated Cleaning Operative to join our team at Queen Street.

You'll play an important role in maintaining a clean, safe and hygienic environment for our client, ensuring all areas are cleaned to the highest standards while delivering excellent customer service and supporting the wider facilities team.

What you'll do

Clean offices, meeting rooms and communal areas to a high standard
Complete daily, weekly and periodic cleaning tasks
Vacuum, mop, dust and sanitise designated areas
Empty waste bins and dispose of waste correctly
Replenish consumables where required
Safely use cleaning chemicals and equipment in line with COSHH guidance
Display safety signage and follow safe working practices
Keep cleaning stores tidy and equipment in good working order
Report maintenance issues, hazards and faulty equipment
Support colleagues by providing cover during holidays and absences
Maintain excellent hygiene, presentation and customer service standards
Follow all client, health & safety and company policies

What you'll bring

Previous cleaning experience is desirable
Good knowledge of cleaning methods and equipment
Understanding of health & safety and COSHH procedures
Strong attention to detail
Excellent time management skills
Good communication and customer service skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Flexible approach to changing business needs
Commitment to delivering service excellence

Desirable:

BICSc or NVQ Cleaning qualification
Experience working within a compliance-driven environment
