Job Summary

Join our team as a Warehouse Night Cleaner and be a vital part of maintaining a safe, organized, and spotless distribution environment. This role offers an energetic opportunity to work overnight hours, ensuring the warehouse remains clean, hygienic, and ready for daily operations. As a Night Cleaner, you will take pride in transforming the warehouse into a professional space that promotes safety and efficiency for all team members. Your dedication will help uphold our high standards of cleanliness and operational excellence.

Hours:

Sunday to Thursday - 10pm until 7am

Responsibilities

Perform thorough cleaning of warehouse floors, loading boys, and common areas using commercial cleaning equipment and supplies.
Sweep and sanitise surfaces using the floor cleaning machine to ensure a hygienic environment.
Empty bins where required.
Clean walls, barriers and doors.
Follow established cleaning schedules and procedures to ensure all areas are maintained consistently.
Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards immediately to supervisors
Use equipment safely and efficiently while adhering to health and safety regulations.

Skills

Proven experience in commercial cleaning with a strong attention to detail.
Ability to operate cleaning machinery such as floor scrubber.
Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and proper handling procedures to ensure safety.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently during shift hours.
Excellent communication skills for reporting issues or completing documentation accurately.
Physical stamina to stand, walk, bend, lift heavy objects, and perform repetitive cleaning tasks for extended periods.
A proactive attitude with a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness in a fast-paced environment.
