Full job description

Job Overview

The Castle Hotel are looking to add a cleaner/housekeeper to our team after a busy start to the season. This is a permanent role predominantly working solo in the mornings.

Responsibilities

Perform thorough cleaning of ground floor, rooms and bathrooms to a high standard
Dust, hoover, sweep, mop floors, and sanitise surfaces to uphold hygiene standards
Restock supplies such as toiletries, towels, and cleaning materials to ensure readiness for visitors and keep track of any top ups needed
Report any maintenance issues or damages to the appropriate person
Maintain organised storage of cleaning tools and supplies for efficiency and safety
Keep on top of laundry rotation

Skills

Excellent attention to detail with a keen eye for cleanliness and organisation
Desire to create warm and welcoming spaces for visiting guests
Ability to work independently while managing time effectively to complete tasks promptly
Strong communication skills for reporting issues and coordinating with team members
Physical stamina to stand, bend, lift, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift

Pay: From £12.71 per hour
