Are you bright, fit and physically capable of carrying out a variety of manufacturing processes using our modern machinery and/or hand tools?

Are you used to factory work OR new to it and know what to expect e.g. AM & PM weekly alternating shifts, physical work on your feet all day and to build large plastic parts; working to written works orders and standard operating procedures to make high quality products every day?

Linecross (Rutland) is one of three world class manufacturing facilities in the Linecross Group handily situated in South Luffenham near Uppingham, Oakham, Stamford, Corby and Peterborough in the East Midlands. We work in partnership with some of the biggest and most prestigious names in the Automotive, Public Transport, Off-Highway and Leisure Sectors.

We offer you

Team environment with on-the-job training and supervision.
Weekly alternating shifts:
WEEK 1: Mon to Fri - 5:30/5:45am to 1:30/1:45pm. Giving you an early finish every day.
WEEK 2: Mon to Wed - 1:30/1:45pm to 11:30/11:45pm and Thursday - 1:30/1:45pm to 11:00/11:15pm approx. with NO Friday working. Giving you a three day weekend every other week.
Start and finish times are dependent upon which team you join.
NO Weekend or Bank Holiday working unless on overtime.
The shifts suit people with families, anyone looking to get away from working any 5 of 7 days; and those wishing to work overtime when offered.
All successful candidates will work for two weeks on the early shift for training and orientation before moving to weekly alternating shifts.
A start rate of £15.07 per hour including shift premium.
Rural location.
FREE car parking for all.
Company pension.

You will be required to work as a General Operator working with machinery and/or hand tools, as required. So whether you come to us with previous skills and experience OR simply with the right blend of great attitude and willingness to learn, we will provide you with the environment to flourish in your new role.

You MUST have excellent attendance and a great work ethic to make the grade.

You MUST have good English skills (reading, writing and spoken word) and maths skills to carry out your daily work in a safe and productive way.

You MUST have a valid driving licence and own private transport as public transport is non-existent in this area and you MUST be able to get to work by yourself.

Many of our current team have been with us for 10-15 years in long term sustainable permanent roles despite the pandemic and we offer you the same opportunity, providing you can show us that you are good enough from the start.
