Air Conditioning Service & Installation Engineer

Location: Chelmsford, Essex
Salary: £35,000-£45,000 per annum
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Working Hours: Monday–Friday
Employment: Employed position

The Opportunity

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Air Conditioning Service & Installation Engineer to join our growing team based in Chelmsford.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an engineer looking for a stable, long-term employed position with a well-established company, competitive salary and excellent company benefits.

You will be responsible for servicing, maintaining, fault-finding and installing a range of air conditioning systems across commercial and domestic sites.

The Role

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

Installing, servicing and maintaining air conditioning systems.
Carrying out planned preventative maintenance and reactive repairs.
Diagnosing faults and carrying out effective repairs.
Working on a range of split, multi-split, VRF/VRV and other HVAC systems.
Completing installation, service and maintenance paperwork accurately.
Liaising professionally with customers and site contacts.
Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and in accordance with current regulations and company procedures.
Working safely and maintaining a professional appearance and attitude at all times.

About You

We are looking for an engineer who is reliable, professional and takes pride in their work.

You should have:

Previous experience as an Air Conditioning Engineer.
Strong service, maintenance and installation experience.
Good fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
Relevant air conditioning/HVAC qualifications.
F-Gas certification.
A full UK driving licence.
Good communication and customer service skills.
The ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
A positive, professional and hardworking attitude.
