Job Overview
We are seeking smart, eloquent, enthusiastic and personable Bar Staff to join our vibrant events team on a casual basis as and when we have events. This role involves providing excellent customer service in a lively hospitality environment, ensuring guests enjoy a memorable experience. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for hospitality, be well-organised, and have a friendly demeanour. Previous bar experience is essential.

Responsibilities

Serve drinks and beverages to customers efficiently and courteously
Take orders accurately and handle cash or card payments using the point-of-sale system
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area throughout shifts
Ensure compliance with food safety and licensing regulations at all times
Restock bar supplies as needed to ensure smooth service flow
Engage with customers to create a welcoming atmosphere and promote specials or events
Assist in setting up and closing down the bar at the beginning and end of shifts
Manage multiple tasks effectively, demonstrating excellent time management skills during busy periods

Qualifications

Previous experience in hospitality is mandatory
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage time efficiently
Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Friendly, approachable manner with a professional attitude
Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as required
