Overview
We are seeking a proactive and personable Sales & purchasing assistant to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in processing sales, providing exceptional customer service, and fostering strong relationships with customers. This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop your sales and purchasing skills within a professional environment. The role is paid and suitable for individuals who are motivated, organised, and possess excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

Engage with customers to understand their needs
Ensuring customer satisfaction
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers and suppliers while actively seeking new business
Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely delivery of products or services
Utilise IT systems to record sales activities, update client information,
Organise appointments and schedule meetings efficiently to optimise time management
Maintain a professional appearance and uphold the company's brand standards at all times

Requirements

Proven experience in sales and purchasing is desirable but not essential
Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal
Proficiency in IT systems
Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently
Good time management skills to meet deadlines and optimise daily schedules
Customer service-oriented attitude with a professional demeanour
Ability to work independently whilst also collaborating effectively within a team
